Trump receives Messi at the White House…and congratulates him on the draw with Al-Ahly (video)

US President Donald Trump received the Inter Miami players at the White House, in the presence of Argentine star Lionel Messi, in honor of the team after winning the American League Cup title, in a celebration that witnessed the presence of a number of the team’s stars and the technical staff.

The reception came in appreciation of the distinguished season presented by Inter Miami, after the team succeeded in achieving the title, adding a new achievement in the club’s history, amid great praise for the role played by Messi in leading the team to the podium since joining the American League.

Trump spoke about the team’s participation in international tournaments, and said during his speech to the Inter Miami players: “In the World Cup during the month of June… you tied in the score with the largest club in Egypt and with a team that has many talented players,” referring to Al-Ahly.
