Cooperation between the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center and the Mohammed bin Rashid Knowledge Foundation
ABU DHABI, 8 JANUARY / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, with the aim of enhancing cooperation in a number of cultural and knowledge fields, and opening broader horizons to support the cultural aspect of young people.
According to the memorandum; The Foundation provides training programs for members of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme, that allow them to develop their skills and abilities.
The memorandum paves the way for fruitful cooperation in the field of translation, as graduates of the Foundation’s translation program, who are distinguished Emirati competencies, will work to complete translations from several languages for the benefit of the “Kalima” Translation Project, affiliated with the Center.
In the context of supporting creativity and Arabic content, the two parties are coordinating to register distinguished participants in the Foundation’s programs to develop creative content in the literary awards and research grants provided by the Center, in addition to enhancing cooperation in the field of publishing, both print and digital, while providing integrated publishing services from class, directing, and translation. , design, and printing, while adhering to international quality standards, and offering competitive prices.
His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Tamim, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center, stressed that the strategic partnership with the Mohammed bin Rashid Knowledge Foundation opens broad knowledge horizons for young people and provides them with important opportunities to develop their skills and abilities in various cultural and creative fields. It also represents a qualitative step in the process of promoting culture. And knowledge in the UAE and the Arab world.
