The Secretariat of the Arab Parliament for Children in Sharjah reviews the preparations for its next session

Sharjah, 8 January / WAM / The General Secretariat of the Arab Parliament for Children, at its headquarters in Sharjah, today held a meeting with the committees organizing the work of Parliament, in the presence of representatives of its General Secretariat and the General Secretariat of the Advisory Council of the Emirate, to review preparations for the launch of the fourth session of Parliament, whose opening session will be held in mid-February. His Excellency Ayman Othman Al-Barout, Secretary-General of Parliament, stressed that it represents an important platform for raising childhood issues and promoting children’s rights in the Arab world, pointing out the importance of continuing cooperation and coordination between all concerned parties in the United Arab Emirates and in the countries of the Arab world to ensure the success of the work of the new session.

The meeting reviewed the organizational plan for the launch of the fourth session, the arrangements related to the opening session, the plan to prepare for the election of the Speaker of Parliament and his two deputies, and the formation of the Events and Activities Committee and the Committee on the Rights of the Child in accordance with the regulating legal frameworks.
