This meeting, hosted by the Kingdom, comes as an affirmation of its leadership and pivotal role regionally and globally, in addition to its continued support for achieving the security and stability of sisterly Syria in a way that preserves its sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity in accordance with the principles of the United Nations Charter..
The Kingdom affirms its support for the brotherly Syrian people and their choices at this pivotal stage in Syria’s history.

The Kingdom denounces the expansion of settlement in the Golan
In a context related to the Syrian situation, the Kingdom denounces the decision of the Israeli occupation government to continue expanding settlement in the occupied Golan Heights, and its continued sabotage of Syria’s chances of regaining its security and stability. It called on the international community to condemn these Israeli violations and the need to respect Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. It also stresses that the Golan is Arab land. Syria is occupied.
Syria’s fate is in the hands of its people
The Kingdom called on the international community to commit to strengthening efforts to combat terrorism and cooperate in combating it in light of the fact that it poses a threat to Syria and to the security of the region and the world, out of Saudi Arabia’s belief that Syria belongs to the Syrians, and that they are more deserving of managing their affairs and determining their fate.
The Kingdom stressed the importance of respecting the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the sister Syrian Arab Republic, and rejecting foreign interference in its internal affairs.
Syria without discrimination
The Kingdom stressed the need to respect the rights of the Syrian people with all their components without any discrimination on the basis of race, sect or religion, and to ensure justice and equality for all citizens. It also stresses the need to preserve Syrian institutions and enhance their ability to carry out their roles in serving and protecting the brotherly Syrian people..
Continuous Saudi aid
The humanitarian and relief aid comes as an extension of what the Kingdom has provided to the brotherly Syrian people, as the Kingdom is one of the first countries to stand with the brotherly Syrian people in their ordeal by hosting millions of them since the first day of the events their country witnessed in 2011, and providing them with the basic requirements of life, such as education and treatment, free of charge. It allowed them to practice work and integrate them into society.
