The ceremony program included a review of the history of the college’s founding and the careers of its graduates, along with a singing operetta and an introductory film that documented Its scientific and humanitarian journey, in addition to a visual presentation entitled “My Journey in the College of Medicine,” and video contributions by former graduates in which they recalled their memories and experiences. This was followed by a dialogue session that brought together the past and the present, and the ceremony concluded with honoring a number of personalities and pioneers.

Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Shahrani, Dean of the College of Medicine, stressed that this meeting was not merely to celebrate study or years, but rather to celebrate a message that the graduates carried with a clear conscience. And a humanitarian responsibility, pointing out that fifty years of the college’s life were not fleeting numbers, but rather a journey of science, a human message, and the creation of generations that brought knowledge and value to medicine. For his part, Professor Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Rubaish, former president of the university and former dean of the college of medicine, expressed his happiness at this meeting, welcoming the graduates to their “first home,” the place where beginnings were made and shaped. The features were laid, and the first building blocks were laid for a professional journey that each one of them carried in his heart, mind, and practical life. He stressed that the fifty years of the college’s life were not built with walls and laboratories alone, but rather with believing hearts, diligent minds, and successive generations in the service of humanity and the nation. He pointed out that the college’s graduates were a source of trust and pride wherever they went, inside and outside the Kingdom, and that the college’s achievements today embody the success of investing in people, through appropriations. An international academy, advanced educational programs, and distinguished outcomes have contributed to strengthening the position of the university and the health sector.

In his speech, the President of the University, Professor Dr. Fahd bin Ahmed Al-Harbi, stressed that the celebration of the golden jubilee of the College of Medicine is a celebration of an extended building process, and the industry of doctors and human beings together.

He pointed out that the College formed one of the established pillars in the university’s journey, and contributed over five decades to developing medical education, enhancing scientific research, and advancing With health services, within an integrated academic and clinical system, he explained that Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University, with the integration of its educational, research and societal roles, is moving steadily with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, stressing that the College of Medicine was and remains a model of commitment and excellence, thanks to its cadres, leaders and ambitious vision that looks to the future with confidence.
