The launch of the women’s competition in the Emirates Open Cup for Sakton Shooting for the GCC countries

Al Ain, December 20 / WAM / The women’s competitions in the Emirates Open Cup for Shooting Shooting for citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries began today at the Al Ain Equestrian and Shooting Club, which is organized by the Weapons and Dangerous Materials Office during the period from 20 to 24 December.
The organizing committee confirmed in a statement that the first day of competitions for women has been approved, and the men’s qualifiers will be held from December 21 to 23, to select the top 30 results from the total number of participants to qualify for the finals scheduled for December 24.
She explained that the finalists compete for the gold token and a financial prize of 100,000 dirhams for first place, 40,000 dirhams and a silver token for the second-place winner, and 30,000 dirhams and the bronze token for the third-place winner, in addition to financial prizes of 10,000 dirhams for each winner from fourth to tenth place.
She noted that the tournament contributes to enhancing the spread of safe shooting sports, raising the level of competition, and establishing the highest organizational and technical standards.
The committee praised the large turnout of participants from outside the country by registering through the website designated for the tournament, the keenness to implement instructions regarding safety procedures, the delivery of licensed personal weapons at the designated outlets, and the smooth procedures for their arrival to the tournament headquarters at the Al Ain Equestrian and Shooting Club.
