The National Media Authority, headed by writer Ahmed Al-Musalmani, announced that the Kawkab Al-Sharq concert by Mrs. Umm Kulthum will be held at the Television Theater in Maspero, at seven in the evening on February 2nd.

Al-Maslamani said: The celebration is on the occasion of the quarter-century anniversary of the series "Umm Kulthum", and the commemoration of the fiftieth anniversary of the passing of the Planet of the East comes within the framework of the Egyptian state’s interest in supporting fine art and enhancing soft power.
And it bears witness The “Umm Kulthum” concert, which is being held on the television stage for the first time in many years, is attended by an elite group of Egyptian artists, led by the director of the “Umm Kulthum” series.
