المملكة: “Believe Us” platform…a qualitative shift in digital certification services in the Kingdom

Deputy Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Engineer Mansour bin Hilal Al-Mushaiti, confirmed that the Kingdom is moving steadily towards enhancing digital transformation, based on Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to build an integrated digital system that guarantees the highest levels of safety and efficiency.
This came during the launch today of the digital transformation platform “Believe Us”, which is one of the Ministry’s pioneering digital initiatives aiming to reformulate the concept of security and integrity in digital transactions.

Digital certification services

It represents a qualitative leap in the provision of digital certification services, as it relies on advanced techniques for public key management and encryption, which contributes to facilitating and accelerating digital operations while maintaining the highest levels of security.
He explained that the efforts made to develop “Believe Us” resulted in direct and indirect financial savings approaching one million riyals, by linking only 8 services to the platform so far out of 500 targeted services.
He stated that this achievement reflects the pivotal role of digital transformation in improving spending efficiency, noting that the platform has achieved tangible achievements since its launch, as the number of certified digital records has reached more than one million records.

Issuing more than 160,000 digital stamps

He pointed out that more than 160,000 digital stamps were issued, and more than 10,000 users benefited from its services, stressing that this success reflects the great impact that can be achieved through thoughtful digital transformation.
It is expected that the number of beneficiaries of the platform will increase significantly to include more than (17) thousand users, and that the number of external beneficiaries will exceed (30) thousand users, which reflects the increasing expansion in the use of the platform.
The number of digital records has also reached more than (10) million records, which strengthens the platform’s position as a basic pillar in preserving and documenting data, and digital seals have exceeded (500) thousand seals.

Number of timestamps

The number of time stamps is expected to reach (700) thousand stamps, in addition to encoding more than (200) digital operations, which consolidates the leadership of “Sadqna” in providing innovative and comprehensive digital solutions.
Engineer Al-Mushaiti stated that the Ministry has set ambitious future plans to develop the “Believe Us” platform, which includes automating the issuance, extension and cancellation of digital certificates, enhancing integration with the Ministry’s various systems, and enabling beneficiaries to manage their digital identities flexibly.
The plans focus on simplifying procedures, accelerating operations, and archiving documents for long-term preservation, while ensuring smooth and accurate tracking of workflow, in a way that enhances performance efficiency and keeps pace with sustainable digital transformation.

He stressed the importance of the strategic partnerships concluded by the Ministry with national bodies such as the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, the National Cybersecurity Authority, and the Digital Government Authority.
He noted that these partnerships enhance the strength of the platform and support the ministry’s direction towards achieving a safe and sustainable digital transformation.
The Director General of the Ministry’s General Department of Cybersecurity, Engineer Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Fuhaid, also confirmed that the efforts being made aim to support and enable the Ministry towards safe digital transformation, especially in the field of digitization and the Internet of Things, which constitutes a large package of transformation projects for the Ministry.

Providing secure digital services

He stated that the platform contains the optimal technologies to support encryption, public key management, and digital certificates according to the relevant government systems, which adds reliability to serving beneficiaries. To provide secure digital services.
In turn, Director of the Ministry’s Digital Certification Department, Wael bin Abdullah Al-Khunaifar, stated that the platform is a pioneering step in enhancing transparency, ensuring data protection, and will contribute to supporting productivity.
This is done by facilitating access to digital documents and documents and reducing the time required to complete procedures, which reflects the Ministry’s keenness to implement secure digital transformation efficiently and effectively.
