Hamdan bin Mohammed visits Dubai Health and learns about its most prominent achievements, projects and development initiatives

DUBAI, 23 DECEMBER WAM / His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, visited today (Tuesday) the headquarters of “Dubai Health”, accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Dubai Health”, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dubai Health.
During the visit, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was briefed on the Dubai health system and its most prominent achievements, projects and development initiatives through which it aims to build an integrated academic health system, based on the integration of care, learning, discovery and giving to improve human health and achieve the well-being of society.
His Highness said: “In Dubai, we believe that human health is the basis for the prosperity of societies. The Dubai Health model, as an integrated academic health system, embodies Dubai’s commitment to implementing the goals of the Dubai Social Agenda 33, by providing high-quality health care, based on science and innovation, and providing the best preventive and curative programs in accordance with international standards for the service of humanity.”
His Highness added: “We are proud of the Dubai Health team and appreciate their efforts in serving patients and their families. We look forward to making Dubai Health one of the best academic health systems in the world.”
During the visit, His Highness inspected the Health Operations Center and was briefed on the latest developments in community and digital health services programs, in addition to the “Reaya” initiative, which is concerned with providing health care services to senior citizens and people of determination.
His Highness also reviewed the details of the “Redesigning the Patient Journey” program, which aims to facilitate access to health services and provide high-quality services, in addition to home services and telemedicine.
