36 local and international Jiu-Jitsu Federation championships in 2025

The Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts Federation revealed its tournament agenda for the new season 2025, which includes organizing and hosting 36 tournaments at the local and international levels, led by the 17th edition of the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship, and the sixth edition of the World Junior Mixed Martial Arts Championship, in addition to the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Championship. For Jiu-Jitsu, an increase of 70% compared to the number of tournaments last season. The Jiu-Jitsu Federation said in a press statement yesterday: “The agenda includes organizing prominent local tournaments such as the President’s Cup, the Vice President’s Cup, the Mother of the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Cup, and the second edition of the Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship for both the suit and non-suit categories.” He added: “The new season will witness eight rounds of the (Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship), which will be held during the months of January, February, April, May, June, July, September, and October.”
