Cooperation agreement between "Journalists Association" And the International Press Organization to implement media training programs

DUBAI, 19 APRIL / WAM / The Emirates Journalists Association and the International Press and Media Organization (IPMO), based in the Netherlands, signed a cooperation agreement to launch specialized training programs in the field of international media, aiming to prepare qualified journalistic cadres in accordance with the highest international professional standards, thus contributing to strengthening the representation of Arab media on the international scene.
The agreement was signed at the association’s headquarters in Dubai, where it was signed by His Excellency Fadela Al Muaini, Chair of the Association’s Board of Directors, and His Excellency Dr. Khaled Bakdash, President of the organization, in the presence of His Excellency Sultan Al Hosani, Secretary-General of the organization, along with an elite group of media leaders and journalists.
Her Excellency Al-Muaini stressed that this agreement represents an advanced stage of organized institutional cooperation in the fields of international media training, exchange of experiences, and development of professional capabilities, which enhances the readiness of media cadres to keep pace with the rapid transformations in the global media landscape, and consolidates their effective presence at the international level.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Khaled Bakdash explained that this type of international partnership is not limited to training journalists in the Middle East, but rather contributes directly to repositioning the Arab press in its rightful position, on a par with major global media institutions, raising the level of conveying facts with high professionalism, enhancing credibility, and confronting digital falsification and media disinformation with efficiency and professionalism.
This partnership confirms the commitment of both parties to building an advanced media system, establishing standards of professionalism and professionalism, and enhancing the Arab media presence at the international level through quality programs with a sustainable impact.
