"Sharjah consultant" He reviews the efforts of the Department of Social Services in the Central Region

Sharjah, January 14 / WAM / The Family Affairs Committee and the Health, Labor and Social Affairs Committee of the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, during their visit today, reviewed the branches of the Sharjah Social Services Department in the Central Region on health and therapeutic services that include home care and the provision of medications, treatment of chronic conditions and physical therapy provided to care recipients. In addition to social support programmes, empowering target groups of women, children and the elderly, disbursing social support and following up on families.

Saeed Matar bin Hamid Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Family Affairs Committee, stressed the importance of monitoring social performance to enhance the quality of services and ensure their comprehensiveness, indicating that this visit comes within the plans of the Family Affairs Committee and the Health Affairs Committee for the second regular session of the eleventh legislative term and is considered an important opportunity to strengthen the relationship with those in charge. On these branches in order to highlight the efforts made in providing social and health services that directly contribute to serving the community and caring for individual families.

During the visit, members of the Advisory Council met a number of citizens and listened to their opinions and suggestions about the quality of services provided.
