Baniyas leads the Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship

Yesterday, the first round of the Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship kicked off at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi.

The first day witnessed bouts in the categories of adults, teachers, and youth (under 18 years), with the participation of hundreds of players from various academies and clubs in the country. Baniyas Club succeeded in achieving the lead, while “MOD” Academy achieved runner-up status, and Al Ain Club came in third place.

For his part, Vice President of the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation, Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, said: “The Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship constitutes a major milestone in the federation’s endeavors towards promoting our sport locally, continentally and internationally, and it also embodies our commitment to achieving excellence in everything we do. This tournament clearly reflects the continued support of our wise leadership for the sport of Jiu-Jitsu, which enhances the values ​​of discipline, courage, and self-confidence among our rising generations. This first round is only the beginning of a long journey that carries within it great aspirations to reach new heights of achievement.”
