"The gallant knight 3" Two aid convoys enter the Gaza Strip
GAZA, 18th January, 2018 (WAM): Two convoys loaded with various Emirati humanitarian aid crossed this week into the Gaza Strip, through the Egyptian Rafah crossing, as part of the humanitarian “Operation Gallant Knight 3”, as part of the UAE’s efforts to support and provide relief to our Palestinian brothers during the current circumstances.
The two convoys consist of 25 trucks carrying more than 309.5 tons of humanitarian aid, including food supplies, shelter tents, and other necessary needs.
This brings the number of aid convoys that entered the Gaza Strip, as part of Operation Gallant Knight 3, to 155 convoys.
To date, the UAE aid that has entered by land as part of the humanitarian “Operation Gallant Knight 3” has amounted to about 29,584 tons, which has contributed greatly to alleviating the severity of the conditions suffered by the residents of the Gaza Strip, alleviating the suffering of the most vulnerable groups, and providing them with basic needs.
