Kickboxing begins the new season’s agenda with 5 tournaments

The Egyptian Kickboxing Federation, headed by Mohamed Sobeih, announced the holding of 5 tournaments during the months of January and February of the current year 2025, with the aim of attracting more players who are spreading widely in various governorates of the Republic.

 

Mohamed Sobeih, President of the Egyptian Kickboxing Federation, said that the Egyptian Open Cup Championship will be held at Cairo Stadium during the period from January 28 to November 1. Next, about 6,000 male and female players will participate in all age groups, and the Republic Championship for juniors will be held at Cairo Stadium during the period from 13 to 16 November next.

 

It has also been decided to hold the Republic Championship for juniors. Which will be held at Cairo International Stadium during the period from 26 to 28 February next, and on the sidelines of which a tournament will be held within the “Elite Fight” style, and as The Egyptian Open Professional Championship will be held on the sidelines of the “Sports Expo 2025” exhibition. Which will be held in its third edition during the period from February 23 to 25, 2025, at the Manara International Conference Center under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

 

The President of the Egyptian Kickboxing Federation added that the federation’s agenda is During the current season, many local tournaments are being held, as well as participation in international and continental tournaments, which comes in line with the boom that kickboxing is witnessing in various governorates after it arrived. The number of players registered in the federation has reached a record number that reflects the efforts of a system working to spread the game and spread it in the desired way for the goals of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, to spread sports and practice it within various Egyptian families.
