The UAE strengthens its position in global golf by hosting two consecutive tournaments

Abu Dhabi, March 18 / WAM / The UAE continues to strengthen its presence in the global golf arena, after the Hotel Planner World Tour approved the dates of the two international tournaments scheduled to be held in the country within the global competitions calendar for this season.
The “Ras Al Khaimah Bank Emirates Challenge Championship” will be held at the Al Zorah Golf and Yacht Club in the Emirate of Ajman during the period from 24 to 27 next September, while the “Abu Dhabi Challenge Championship” will host its competitions at the Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club during the period from 1 to 4 next October.
The two tournaments are held within a long-term agreement with the Emirates Golf Federation, and within the framework of the global calendar that includes 29 tournaments, where the Hotel Planner Tour season is held under the slogan “The Road to Mallorca.”
The UAE will host these two tournaments in succession immediately after the Open Championship in Portugal, and the competitions will continue after that with the holding of two successive tournaments in China, in a new confirmation of the country’s position as a main station in hosting major international sporting events.
