المملكة: During 2024, King Abdulaziz Hospital in Mecca will perform more than 4 million medical procedures
King Abdulaziz Hospital in the Holy Capital, a member of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Health Cluster, completed more than 4 million medical procedures during the past year 2024, which reflects its deep commitment to providing integrated, high-quality health services to patients and visitors.
The Mecca Health Cluster explained that 128,086 x-ray examinations were conducted during the past year, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
It also dispensed 1,876,637 prescriptions, which reflects the efficiency of the hospital’s medication management system, in addition to conducting 2,484,835 laboratory tests to diagnose various conditions, which contributes to providing accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.
Using the latest medical technologies
The Makkah Health Assembly stated that the hospital seeks to meet the needs of beneficiaries in accordance with the highest medical standards, and is keen on the importance of using the latest medical technologies and practices, and providing continuous training to medical personnel to ensure the provision of effective and safe health care.
King Abdulaziz Hospital plans further development and growth in the coming years, focusing on innovation in providing medical services, and expanding the scope of services to meet the community’s health and treatment needs.
