المملكة: The Kingdom confirms the danger of the Transitional Council’s movements to the Yemeni people and continues to contain the situation

The Kingdom confirms that the movements made by the Transitional Council in the governorates of Hadramaut and Al-Mahra are To support stability in the governorates of Hadramaut and Al-Mahra, and not to involve them in military conflicts, and to support peaceful solutions.

The Kingdom’s efforts to contain the situation

In an effort by the Kingdom to contain the situation, it worked with the brothers in the UAE and the Presidential Leadership Council to address the situation, by sending a joint team to make the necessary arrangements with the Transitional Council to ensure the exit of its forces from the two governorates and the handing over of the camps there to the National Shield Forces.

The Kingdom continues to support the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and his legitimate government and works to support stability and development through comprehensive political, economic and development support.

The Role of Leadership in Achieving Peace

The leadership of the Kingdom – may God support it – seeks to achieve peace, security, stability and prosperity in Yemen, and to move it from a stage of conflicts to a stage where stability and security prevail and focus on achieving the aspirations of the people. Transgressions of the Southern Transitional Council

The Kingdom believes that any unilateral measures taken by the Southern Transitional Council in Hadramaut are considered a clear violation of the terms of reference for the transitional period in Yemen and an undermining of the authority of the legitimate government, a serious threat to stability and the future of the political process in Yemen, and an attempt to bypass all legal and political frameworks and adopt the approach of the Houthi militia in Yemen.

The Kingdom stressed the necessity of the withdrawal of the forces affiliated with the Transitional Council from the governorates of Hadramaut and Al-Mahra, the return of the situation to what it was, and the handing over of sites and camps to the National Shield Forces, as this is a pivotal step to ensure security and prevent the recurrence of military tensions.

The Kingdom stressed that the southern issue is a just issue that cannot be bypassed in any political settlement, as it is an integral part of the outcomes of the Yemeni national dialogue and any upcoming political process, but it is the issue of the southern people with all its components, and it cannot be reduced to one person.
