The President awards the Turkish Ambassador the Zayed II Medal, First Class
Abu Dhabi, January 20 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” awarded His Excellency Tugay Tuncer, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the UAE, the Zayed II Medal, First Class, in appreciation of the efforts he made during his work in the country, which He contributed to developing and strengthening strategic relations between the two countries in all fields.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, presented the Turkish Ambassador with the medal during his reception in Abu Dhabi.
His Highness expressed his wishes to the ambassador for success, praising his role in strengthening bilateral relations between the UAE and the Republic of Turkey.
For his part, His Excellency Tugay Tunchir expressed his deep appreciation and thanks to His Highness the President, “may God protect him” for this honor, stressing the distinguished relations between the two countries.
He also thanked all government agencies in the country for the cooperation he found that had a positive impact on the success of his mission.
