Fujairah International Piano Competition begins
Fujairah, January 21 / WAM / The sixth edition of the Fujairah International Piano Competition, organized by the Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts, has begun, and is considered a prominent musical event that includes professionals from various countries of the world.
The competition is witnessing wide participation, including various age groups from inside and outside the Emirates, and auditions for the musicians have begun in the presence of an international jury, which will evaluate the performance and determine the winners.
Ali Obaid Al-Hafiti, Director General of the Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts, stressed that the competition has become one of the most important international musical events, noting that it represents a global musical platform that enhances cultural and artistic exchange between peoples.
The age categories of the competition participants were divided into four groups: Category “A” up to 10 years, Category “B” from 11 to 13 years, Category “C” from 14 to 17 years, and Category “D” from 18 years and above.
