المملكة: Radio and Television initiatives have promoted awareness of artificial intelligence
The honor came in celebration of the Authority’s role in supervising this national event, which reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to developing artificial intelligence technologies in various fields during the closing ceremony.
Hackathon “Injaz”
The head of the Saudi Authority for Artificial Intelligence (SDAIA), Abdullah Sharaf Al-Ghamdi, praised the efforts made by the Broadcasting Corporation and the parties participating in organizing the “Injaz” hackathon, stressing that the initiatives contributed to enhancing awareness of the importance of artificial intelligence and its pivotal role in supporting national development.
The Chairman of the Radio and Television Commission, Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harithi, expressed his pride in the Commission’s participation in the event, noting that the Commission pays great attention to the field of artificial intelligence, by adopting many initiatives that are in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
He stated that the Authority was one of the first media entities to invest in artificial intelligence, starting with establishing a specialized department in this field and ending with developing strategic partnerships to support modern technical solutions.

He pointed out that the Authority is working to develop the skills of its employees through specialized training programs in artificial intelligence, in addition to launching innovative initiatives such as: launching the Saudi Media Forum, which is organized by the Authority, the Media Innovation Initiative, which contributes to harnessing generative artificial intelligence to serve the media sector.
It is noteworthy that the participation of the Radio and Television Corporation in organizing the “Injaz” hackathon comes as part of joint cooperation with 9 government agencies, which are the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), the Digital Government Authority, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Ministry of Economy and Planning, and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. The Ministry of Finance, the Spending Efficiency and Government Projects Authority, the National Center for Government Resource Systems, in addition to the National Program for Information Technology Development and a number of other relevant ministries.
