Davos.. The Minister of Industry discusses supply chain challenges with leaders of international companies
The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, held a series of bilateral meetings with leaders of international industrial and mining companies, which discussed opportunities for joint cooperation in the industrial and mining sectors, on the sidelines of his participation within the Kingdom’s high-level delegation in the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum, which is hosted by the Swiss city during the period. From 20 to 24 January.
The meetings discussed promising investment opportunities in, the challenges facing securing supply chains for critical metals in the world, and smart solutions for manufacturing, in addition to transferring knowledge and innovation to the food industry sector in the Kingdom.

Minister Al-Kharif’s meetings included a meeting with the CEO of the London Metal Stock Exchange, the President of Glencore, the global leader in the metals industry, the CEO of PepsiCo, a food manufacturing company, and a member of the Board of Directors and chief administrator of the technology and strategy sector at Siemens. – Siemens Global.

The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources’ meetings with heads and officials of international private sector companies come as part of his participation in the Kingdom’s delegation at the Davos Forum 2025, and the participation aims to cooperate with the international community under the slogan “We work for a prosperous future for the world.”
