Donald Trump reclassifies the Houthi group as a “foreign terrorist organization”

US President Donald Trump signed an executive order reclassifying the Houthi group in Yemen as a “foreign terrorist organization,” according to what the White House announced, in light of the many attacks it launched on several parties in the region.
The White House explained, in a statement today, that President Trump decided to include the Yemeni Houthi group on the list of foreign terrorist organizations, and said: “The Houthi activities threaten the security of American civilians and personnel in the Middle East, the safety of our closest partners in the region, and the stability of global maritime trade.”
