"Dubai Culture" The 29th version of "Art map"

Dubai, January 24 / WAM / The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Dubai Culture, launched the 29th edition of the “Map of Art”, in cooperation with the “The Jam Gar” studio, as part of its efforts to provide a comprehensive image of art galleries, festivals and cultural and artistic events that Witness in Dubai and the UAE.
The edition of the “Art Map” reflects the commitment of “Dubai Culture” to create a supportive environment for intellectuals, thinkers and entrepreneurs, which enhances Dubai’s position as a global center for culture and creativity, and a talent meeting. The new version of the “Art Map” appears to the remarkable progress that Dubai has witnessed in the local technical sector during the past six years, in line with the emirate’s visions to enhance its position as a global center for creative economy.
The emirate embraces more than 40 art showrooms, along with an important group of museums such as the Shindaga Museum, the largest heritage museum in the Emirates, and the Union Museum. Dubai also hosts innovative artistic and cultural events under the umbrella of the “Dubai Technical Season” and among these events “Al -Marmum Festival: Film In the desert, “which aims to enhance the local cinema industry, and the” Sikka Festival for Arts and Design “, which celebrates emerging and leading artistic talents.
The season includes the “Emirates Airlines Festival for Literature”, one of the most prominent literary events locally and internationally, and the “Al Quoz Festival for Arts”, which offers inspiring artistic performances.
Among the prominent activities are also the “Art Dubai Gallery”, in which the Art Dubai Digital section was added, in line with the recovery of the non -replaceable “NFT” symbol “NFT”, and the “World Dubai Arts Exhibition”, which includes a distinctive artistic diversity.
The new edition emphasizes the importance of “the strategy of the art of public places in Dubai” and its vital role in converting the emirate into an open artistic museum available to all.
The “Art Map” provides comprehensive information about exhibitions and artistic awards in the Emirates, with a focus on the “Creative Al Quoz” and “Dubai Culture” and its various initiatives such as “Al -Hayat Schools”. It also reviews the cultural scene in Abu Dhabi with activities such as “Abu Dhabi Art” and highlights Creativity areas such as “Miza neighborhood”, and the artistic events are highlighted in Sharjah with “Sharjah 16 Biennial”.
The new version of the release highlights the most prominent artists and values in the UAE and the region, including the artist Ammar Al -Banna and Natasha Genwala, the “Sharjah 16 Biennial”.
The version also includes a definition of the artist Sheikh Maktoum bin Marwan Al Maktoum, who is characterized by a unique artistic style that mixes embalming techniques and nature materials.
In addition, the version celebrates the achievements of local artistic institutions such as “The Jam Gar” and “Therd Line”, and explores the growth of African art in the country.
Dr. Saeed Mubarak bin Kharbash, Executive Director of the Arts, Design and Literature Sector in Dubai Culture, stressed that the new version of the “Art Map” reflects the development of the cultural sector in the Emirates and Dubai, highlighting the attractive environment for international creators.
He said that Dubai Culture is committed to supporting the sector through multiple projects and initiatives.
Hital Bawani, director of the company “The Jam Gar”, praised the revival of the art map that started since 2007 and confirms that the support from “Dubai Culture” was essential in the success of the project, which highlights the role of young artists in promoting the artistic scene.
