The Pharmacists Club calls for the exception of pharmacies from the new law for rents

Egypt Pharmacists Club rejected some of the articles contained in the old lease bill currently shown on the House Executive of the Arab Pharmacists Union, with the exception of pharmacies from the new rental law, in implementation of the constitutionally and legally approved project, listening to representatives of pharmacists in unions and councils when drafting the articles of the final law, preparing a societal and legal study on the impact of this law on the drug sector and public health, and the approval of alternative solutions that preserve the rights of the owner and the tenant without demolishing an existing vital system.
He said Dr. Muhammad Esmat, that the pharmacist is already suffering from heavy losses due to the policy of changing pharmaceutical pricing (selling at two price), where he bears the difference without support, and today, he is called for evacuation without an alternative, at a time when according to the law he cannot open a new pharmacy because of the distance law, indicating that most of the old pharmacies are owned by pharmacists from the seventies and eighties, who exceeded the retirement age, and they have stable families This harsh way?! Dr. Mohamed Esmat stressed that the owners of the old pharmacies served this country for decades, and now their fate and their families are threatened with evacuation and displacement, as a result of the direction of the application of the new rental law to pharmacies, with what it carries a real catastrophe on the future Old .. Save the remaining symbols of the profession .. Save families that almost lost everything The whole. The one who is released is the way to open a new pharmacy, and leaves it in the face of the professional and living unknown, and Article 33 of the Egyptian constitution provides for the protection of the royal state of all kinds, so how do we protect the ownership, and we leave the foundations of its facility himself, and served people for decades?! Also, Article 27 of the Constitution stipulates the economic system aimed at achieving prosperity and preserving the rights of workers. Will preserving the rights by expelling thousands of pharmacists from the elderly from their source of livelihood?!, And there is a fatwa of the State Council & ndash; The General Assembly of Fatwa and Legislation (Fatwa No. 86 of 1993), that pharmacies are health facilities, not commercial, and they are not permitted to treat shops when interpreting lease laws, and when the law of increasing rents in the nineties is issued, clinics and pharmacies were excluded from immediate application, as they are service facilities that play a general role, indicating that this legislative precedent confirms that the distinction between pharmacies and shops Commercial was stable in the conscience of the Egyptian legislator.
