Britain imposes sanctions against 6 officials and 3 companies in Belarus
This came in response to what she described as “false demonstration of a democracy” in the recent presidential elections in the country.
A new wave of penalties for Belarus
The British News Agency “BA Media”, explaining that the United Kingdom and Canada united their efforts to impose a new wave of sanctions after holding “false” presidential elections in Belarus on Sunday.
Alexander Lukashenko, Vladimir Putin’s ally, won a five -year term of power.
Among the six people who were imposed on the penalties are the Chairman of the Belarusian Electoral Committee, Igor Vasilific Carbinko.
The other five, the leaders of the security and prisons involved in a campaign of repression against the political opponents of the regime in Belarus, face a ban on traveling to the United Kingdom and spending the money within it.
The target of the penalties in Belarus
Among them are Victor Alexandrovich Dubrovka, Baville Ivanovich Kazakov and Andrei Mikhailovich Tsridric, who manages prisons in the country in Eastern Europe.
This is in addition to Andrea Valerific Annennko, head of the main administration to combat organized crime and corruption, affiliated with the Ministry of Internal Affairs (Jobobic) and his deputy, Mikhail Petrovic, Pidonquich.
Sanctions were also imposed against three defense companies in Belarus, due to the country’s support for the Russian war effort in Ukraine.
