Dubai Culture organizes special heritage shows and activities for Eid Al Fitr

Dubai, March 18 / WAM / The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority is organizing a series of entertainment shows and cultural experiences inspired by local heritage from the 20th to the 24th of March this month to celebrate Eid Al Fitr, as part of the Eid campaign in Dubai, which falls under the umbrella of the “Season of Love,” which aims to strengthen family ties, revive cultural heritage, and consolidate the values ​​of communication and solidarity in society.

Through the Union Museum, the Authority offers a number of interactive workshops directed to families, including the “Frame of Memories” workshop, which allows visitors to document their moments in creative ways, in addition to the Union Memorial Seal workshop, which enables participants to design cards inspired by the symbols of the museum, in addition to guided tours that highlight the history of the establishment of the Union and its pivotal stations.

At Al Shindagha Museum, visitors experience an integrated cultural experience through the Eidiya Trail, which allows them to explore the houses and wings of the museum and learn about the features of social life and customs associated with Eid, while the Visitor Center hosts an Eid coffee workshop that reflects the traditions of Emirati hospitality.

The activities also include various cultural experiences, including a dinner club, during which Emirati chef Sahar Al Awadhi presents a menu inspired by the Eid atmosphere, in addition to educational workshops in the House of Traditional Crafts, the House of Decorations and Beauty, and the House of Traditional Jewelry, which allows visitors to learn about the arts of tulli, embroidery, fashion design, and traditional jewelry.

Dar Al Maktoum hosts the popular Al-Ayyala shows, while the Authority allocates a corner to support emerging projects to display their products during the Eid days.

The events reflect Dubai Culture’s commitment to enhancing the presence of local heritage and providing qualitative cultural experiences that contribute to consolidating national identity and enriching the cultural scene in the emirate.
