Among them are federal prosecutors … the dismissal of American officials who participated in the pursuit of Trump
On Monday, officials of the US Department of Justice were dismissed in the federal criminal procedures that affected Donald Trump, which were abandoned after his re -election in November, an official source and media reported.
Special Prosecutor Jacques Smith, who was charged with the previous procedures for trial in two federal cases against Trump, had left the Ministry of Justice on January 10 10 days before the inauguration of the new president.
They cannot be trusted
On Monday, officials of the ministry were dismissed in the context of these procedures.
“Acting Minister of Justice, James McGathri, made this decision, as they cannot be trusted to implement the President’s program in Wafa, because of their great role in prosecutions against the president,” an official of the US Department of Justice said.
The number or identities of the targeted people was not revealed, but the Ammarid media reported that they were about 10, including a number of federal prosecutors.
Stop the federal prosecutions of Trump
In late November, Jack Smith recommended that federal prosecutions against Donald Trump on the background of his illegal attempts to overthrow the results of the 2020 elections, and kept secret classified documents after leaving the White House.
But in the final report that he delivered on January 7 to the outgoing Minister of Justice, he considered that “had it not been for the election of Trump and his imminent return to the presidency, the prosecutor’s office would have seen that the acceptable evidence was sufficient to obtain a condemnation in a trial.”
Trump replied by saying through his social platform “Truth Suchs” that he is “mentally disturbed”, noting that Smith did not succeed in pursuing the political opponent of his master.
