Emirates Sports Arbitration" Looking for coordination mechanisms with local and federal courts

Dubai, January 31 / WAM / The Board of Directors of the Emirates Sports Arbitration Center discussed ways to enhance cooperation and raise the level of coordination with local and federal courts in the country about the state’s jurisdiction of the center in the consideration of sports disputes, according to the law of its establishment.
This came during a meeting of the center’s board of directors that was held headed by His Excellency Jamal Hamed Al -Marri, and the presence of the members of the Council Ghanem Mubarak Al -Hajri, Muhammad Juma Al -Suwaidi, Dr. Faisal Hassan Ahmed, Shahab Hamad Bushehab, Moza Bouhaaron Al Shamsi, Abdullah Khamis Bouamim, and CEO Dr. Baysha Ali Al Ketbi .
The Council approved the naming of His Excellency Ghanem Mubarak Al -Hajri as Vice -President of the Center, the closing account and the auditor of the auditor, for the year 2024, and the estimated budget for the year 2025.
The members discussed future plans and new initiatives within the framework of the comprehensive strategy that the center seeks to implement its axes, especially in the areas of awareness and education, coordination with partners from the relevant authorities, and moving forward towards achieving the center’s goals by approving the completed justice between the parties to different sports disputes.
His Excellency Jamal Hamed Al -Marri stressed that the Emirates Sports Arbitration Center seeks to refine the experiences and capabilities of its affiliates, organize scientific programs at the hands of a group of specialists and legal, and constantly get to know the latest developments and updates in sports arbitration, and to discuss mechanisms to benefit from them and generalize them to the list of successful and registered arbitrators.
He pointed out that the council discussed during its meeting the members ’proposals and perceptions based on the performance reports submitted by the executive management, in order to develop plans aimed at consolidating the position of the center and enhancing its level.
