The American Indian leaders delegation praises the role of the UAE in consolidating understanding between cultures
Abu Dhabi, January 31 / WAM / His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, received today in his council in the capital, Abu Dhabi, a delegation of American Indian leaders, headed by Dr. Bahrat Parai, head of the American Indian Friendship Council who is currently visiting the state.
His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak welcomed the delegation, stressing the keenness of the UAE, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, to enhance its international partnerships and consolidate the values of understanding and coexistence between peoples through constructive initiatives that support dialogue and cultural openness.
His Excellency stressed the importance of extending bridges of cultural communication between societies, as a major pillar of global peace and stability.
For his part, Dr. Bahrat Parai expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak for the warm reception, praising the pioneering role of the UAE in consolidating understanding between cultures and enhancing the values of tolerance and coexistence, praising the state’s efforts in building international partnerships in the economic and social fields, in a way that contributes to achieving Sustainable development and promoting the values of peace and international cooperation.
The meeting dealt with ways to enhance international cooperation, in addition to exploring the pivotal role of the UAE in global flows of commodities, capital, services and modern technologies, which enhances its position as a leading global economic center.
The two sides reviewed the pioneering achievements that the UAE has achieved in the areas of tolerance, coexistence and human brotherhood, which strengthened its position as a role model in spreading the values of openness and cultural pluralism.
At the end of the meeting, His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak stressed the importance of promoting dialogue and cooperation between various cultures and civilizations, praising the vital role played by the American -Indian Friendship Council in consolidating relations between peoples.
He stressed the UAE’s commitment to continuing its pioneering role in spreading the values of tolerance and human brotherhood, enhancing initiatives that enhance peaceful coexistence, and support dialogue and civilized communication at the global level.
