& nbsp; The Department of Refugees and Popular Committees in the camps organized a solidarity stand in support of UNRWA and a rejection of the racist decisions approved by the Israeli Knesset to stop the agency’s services, as well as opposing the American vision presented by former President Donald Trump on The displacement of Palestinian refugees. The stand witnessed a large public presence of refugees, mayors, notables, and reform men, who expressed their categorical rejection of these liquidation decisions. They affirmed their adherence to their national rights to return and live freely and dignity. Ashraf Al -Afari, head of the People’s Committee for Refugees, opened in Deir Al -Balah camp, where he stressed that the refugee community will not give up its rights, saying: & quot; we will not sell and we will not compromise on our homeland. & Quot; In his speech, Dr. Adel Mansour, Director General of the camps in the southern governorates, stressed the full adherence to the rights of the Palestinian people, calling for the need to join international, regional and local efforts to confront projects that threaten the Palestinian issue. Mansour also noted the seriousness of the American statements calling for resettlement of refugees in other countries, which contradicts international decisions that guarantee the right to return to Palestinian refugees. Mansour called for strengthening support for UNRWA as the only international recognized authority to provide services to Palestinian refugees, warning of any attempts to cancel or replace its role. At the end of his speech, Mansour stressed that the issue of Palestinian refugees is a political issue with distinction, not only humanity, stressing the need to support the right to return and compensation in accordance with international resolutions.
