The UAE is participating in the meeting of the Arab Experts team concerned with combating terrorism in Cairo

The UAE participated in the work of the 36th meeting of the Arab Experts team concerned with combating terrorism, which was held today at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo, as well as a workshop on “combating children’s recruitment by terrorist groups by using modern technologies and electronic games.”

Minister Plenipotentiary Dr. Maha Bakhit, Director of Legal Affairs and responsible for the technical secretariat of the Arab Experts team concerned with combating terrorism, confirmed that the meeting discussed the follow -up of the measures taken to implement the recommendations issued by the 35th meeting of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers that was held in Tunisia and enhancing cooperation with the United Nations Organization and its concerned committees and committees The fight against terrorism in addition to the relevant international and regional organizations.

She pointed to the meeting, which touched on the experiences and views of the Arab countries on the measures taken to prevent the use of drones in terrorist operations, reflecting the joint Arab efforts to confront the emerging security challenges.
