After 5 days … a portion of the stricken American fuselage was recovered
Part of the Bottomac River’s body in Washington was pulled out 5 days after it was crashed due to a collision with a military helicopter, killing 67 people.
A huge crane ship and a second smaller ship used ropes to lift part of the fuselage from the water, and carefully placed it on a wardrobe.
The continued recovery of the victims
The processes of recovering the plane and helicopters that crashed into the Botomac River, in parallel with the recovery of the victims.
According to the latest report issued on Sunday, 55 bodies were picked and identified.
The local authorities expressed their confidence that they would be able to retrieve all the victims, and said: We will remain here and continue to search until we find everyone, and we expect to find other bodies when the wreckage of the plane and the helicopter is retrieved.
The causes of disaster
Republican President Donald Trump attributed the disaster and lack of air traffic controllers to employment policies on the basis of diversity during the era of his ancestors, Joe Biden and Parac Obama, without providing evidence.
The American press stated that the employees of the monitoring tower at Ronald Reagan International Airport in Washington were not at their normal level when the collision occurred.
The independent US Transportation Agency investigators hope to issue a preliminary report within 30 days, and the full investigation may take a full year.
