The Arab Parliament for the Child launches an interactive electronic platform in its next session

Sharjah, February 4 / WAM / Ayman Othman Al -Barrout, Secretary -General of the Arab Parliament for the Child, announced that the fourth session of the Arab Parliament for the Child, which will be held in mid -February, will witness the launch of several initiatives, including an interactive electronic platform for Arab children, enabling them to express their opinions, share their ideas, and work to enhance awareness programs with rights The child in schools, as well as holding workshops aimed at qualifying children in the skills of critical thinking and self -development to enhance their capabilities and enable them to participate effectively in their societies.

In statements to him, the Parot said that the new session of Parliament will focus on vital issues such as good education, protecting children, enhancing their participation in society, how to enhance the rights of the child in light of the current challenges, including rapid technological changes and their impact on children to enable children to become real partners in discussing these issues And to contribute to determining the future of their societies.

The Parot expected a promising future for the Arab Parliament for the child and to become a strong and effective voice for every Arab child to participate in the making decisions that affect their lives by enhancing communication between children in various Arab countries and motivating them to actively participate in the sustainable development process.

He stressed that the preparations for the fourth session are going in full swing to host the children of the Arab world in Sharjah under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and with the follow -up of His Excellency Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary -General of the League of Arab States, and said: “We are working to develop the agenda of the session to include issues New interest in the Arab child, in addition to enhancing the participation of children themselves by qualifying them with workshops, courses and diplomas.
