Abu Dhabi Police launches an integrated proactive plan to enhance safety and security during Eid Al Fitr

The Abu Dhabi Police General Command announced the implementation of an integrated, proactive security and traffic plan, coinciding with the approaching Eid Al Fitr, with the aim of enhancing safety and security, maintaining the flow of traffic, and ensuring the safety of community members in various regions of the emirate.

She stressed that the plan includes intensifying security and traffic patrols on main roads, vital areas, gathering places, commercial centers, public parks, and prayer halls, in addition to strengthening the police presence in locations that witness a large demand from the public during the Eid holiday, which contributes to providing a safe and reassuring environment for everyone.

She explained that the police work system is fully operational through the central operations room to receive reports and deal with them around the clock, in addition to the integration of efforts between the various police sectors and strategic partners to ensure rapid response to any reports or emergency situations.

Abu Dhabi Police called on community members to cooperate with police agencies, adhere to traffic laws and regulations, drive safely, and avoid dangerous behavior on the roads, stressing that community safety is a top priority, and that efforts are continuing to enhance security and safety and make the community happy during this blessed occasion.

The Directorates of the Capital, Al Ain, Al Dhafra, Traffic and Security Patrols confirmed their keenness to achieve the highest rates of safety on the road, and to provide comfort and reassurance to members of the community, through their field presence at all times to ensure the smooth flow of traffic, and that a number of traffic scenarios and plans have been developed that contribute to the smooth flow of traffic and prevent traffic congestion during the Eid Al Fitr holiday and the events accompanying it.

She called on members of society to adhere to the laws, and not to deal in any way with fireworks and those who trade in them, in order to preserve the safety of the public during the celebration of the Eid al-Fitr holiday or any other events, and not to let children play and cross the streets without supervision from families and guardians. She urged the young group of vehicle drivers to display civilized behavior when driving their vehicles and not to exploit the joy of the holiday to carry out any irresponsible behavior such as dangerous parades, reckless driving, and organizing races near residential areas that endanger their lives. And the lives of others are at risk.
