Zayed Award for Humanitarian Brotherhood organizes a discussion session to enhance peaceful coexistence

Abu Dhabi, February 7 / WAM / The Zayed Award for Humanitarian Brotherhood organized the third annual discussion session, which brought together the former and current honorees of the award, in addition to the jury members from the current session and previous sessions, with the aim of enhancing cooperation and exchanging ideas and unifying efforts to support solidarity and peaceful coexistence.
The session was chaired by His Excellency Counselor Mohamed Abdel Salam, Secretary -General of the Zayed Award for Humanitarian Brotherhood, and was managed by Caroline Faraj, from the “CNN” network, and each of the parties participated in; His Excellency Patricia Scotland, Secretary General of the Commonwealth Organization, Dr. Najosi Oldo Iyalia, Director General of the World Trade Organization, and Cardinal Petro Codo Abyah Torxon, Advisor to the Pontifical Academy of Science and the Pap for Social Sciences; And former Costa Rica Vice President, Dr. Epsa Campbell Bar; Catherine Samba Panza, former President of the Central Republic of Africa, along with the awards of the award for 2025, are Irene Gore, CEO of the World Central Central Cumer, and Himan Bekelei, 15 -year -old Ethiopian Ethiopian innovator.
Discussions this year focused on enhancing efforts and joint cooperation in order to introduce the values established by the Zayed Award for Humanitarian Brotherhood as a global platform to encourage and honor actors and active institutions that make great contributions to spreading the values of human brotherhood.
The session provided a platform for the participants to lead initiatives that contribute to achieving the award’s vision, and contribute to addressing the challenges facing the promotion of the values of human brotherhood in societies.
His Excellency Counselor Mohamed Abdel Salam said that the award aims to form a global platform that includes all lovers of goodness, tolerance, coexistence and peace around the world, to work for a better future for humanity, noting that the world is increasingly aware that the path to peace requires joint cooperation that goes beyond conflicts and differences.
For its part, His Excellency Patricia Scotland, a member of the jury for the 2025 session, stressed that the human brothers are linked to the value of love, which is one of the highest human values, as it requires communication sincerely and acceptance, noting the importance of cooperation in order to promote peace and mercy in the world.
Irene Gore, CEO of the World Central Central Cumer, said that some people hesitate to take the initiative to do good due to the various challenges, laws or obstacles, calling for the expansion of the call of human brother to extend beyond these barriers, and encourage others to extend a helping hand to every needy.
For his part, Hyman Beckley, an innovator in the field of health and one of the awards, said that it is necessary to enhance the role of youth and take their opinions into consideration, and expand their participation in the decision -making process, noting that innovation and cooperation may make a real difference, especially in the times when the world needs to Radical solutions.
The discussions of the dialogue session strengthened the conviction that the human brotherhood starts from educational upbringing and rooted during the stages of school education, where education and cultural understanding is the basis for building coherent societies.
Participants stressed the importance of creating a global network of human brother’s ambassadors, which are based on unity, and see in diversity a source of strength and enrichment.
The Zayed Award for Humanitarian Brotherhood honored the winners of the 2025 session during an official ceremony, which was organized on the fourth of February, which falls on the International Day of Humanitarian Brotherhood, in the Zayed Founding edifice in Abu Dhabi.
The award celebrates individuals and organizations who devote their efforts to enhance the values of solidarity, integrity, justice and optimism, with the aim of establishing a more humane and solidarity future.
