The preparations included the readiness of 13 travel lounges designated for pilgrims, in addition to more than 22,000 male and female employees working to ensure speedy procedures and ease of movement within airports, which contributes to raising operating efficiency and improving the experience of the pilgrims.

It also included providing quality services aimed at facilitating the journey of the pilgrims, the most prominent of which is the (Traveler Without Bag) service, which enables the pilgrim to complete the journey. Travel procedures and shipping of his luggage from his residence, in addition to proactive shipping of Zamzam water bottles; To ease the hassle of transportation and provide a smoother travel experience.

Operating 27 airports in Saudi Arabia

It is noteworthy that Airports Holding oversees the operation of 27 airports in Saudi Arabia through its subsidiaries (Riyadh Airports, Jeddah Airports, Dammam Airports, and the second airport cluster), which aims to develop the Kingdom’s airports and improve their performance to keep pace with the rapid development that the Kingdom is currently witnessing.

It also aims to support the process of sustainable development to achieve more Of development and achievements in accordance with the National Aviation Strategy emanating from the National Transport and Logistics Strategy, being one of the outcomes of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
