"Dubai Electricity" The Project Management Institute discusses cooperation in the areas of sustainable development

Dubai, February 7/ WAM/ His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director, CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, and Pierre Le Man, discussed the President and CEO of the Project Management Institute, enhancing excellence in project management and advancing cooperation in the areas of sustainable development.
The “Project Management Institute” is a non -profit professional association that includes members of project managers and program managers established in 1969 and its members are currently more than 2.9 million people around the world.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to benefit from the extensive experiences enjoyed by the institute in project management with the aim of enhancing the authority’s initiatives in sustainability, innovation and operational efficiency.
His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al -Tayer highlighted the long -term partnership between the authority and the Project Management Institute, which started in 2010, and witnessed remarkable growth during that period, based on the presentation of only three courses in project management, to the broad cooperation that includes 18 specialized courses covering a wide range Among the topics, including project management, flexibility and artificial intelligence, reflecting the authority’s commitment to providing project managers, programs and business governor with advanced knowledge and skills.
By the end of 2024, 280 employees in the authority obtained a certificate of professional projects management, in addition to 120 employees on other professional certificates from the Project Management Institute, which confirms the authority’s commitment to enhance the culture of excellence in project management.
In its career about 2025, the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority announced the launch of new training programs in building management, the use of artificial intelligence in project management, in addition to courses that focus on institutional agility. These initiatives reflect the advanced needs of the sector and the authority’s commitment to employing innovative methods to implement projects.
