With pictures| Queues for Egypt… unprecedented turnout of Egyptians in Kuwait in the House of Representatives elections

Today, the headquarters of the Egyptian Embassy in the State of Kuwait witnessed a distinctive national scene, as members of the Egyptian community flocked from the early hours of the morning to participate in voting in the 2025 House of Representatives elections, and citizens lined up in long lines in front of the committees amid an enthusiastic atmosphere that expressed the depth of belonging and love for the homeland.

 

The voter turnout came in the form of a large crowd that reflects the awareness of Egyptians abroad of the importance of participating in this democratic entitlement. And their belief in their role in supporting the progress of the Egyptian state and shaping its future, and the participants were keen to perform their national duty and express their opinion through the ballot boxes.

The voting process for Egyptians residing abroad in the first phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections takes place on Friday and Saturday inside 139 Egyptian embassies and consulates in 117 countries.

It is noteworthy that the House of Representatives elections are held in two stages and 2,598 candidates compete in the system. Individuals, and 4 lists in the closed list system, and voting in the first round of the first stage will take place on November 7 and 8 abroad, and at home on November 10 and 11, with the official result being announced on November 18, and a rerun abroad will be held on December 1 and 2, and at home on December 3 and 4, and the result of the rerun will be announced on next December 11.
