Today, the Egyptian Embassy in Germany witnessed a distinguished turnout of Egyptian voters to cast their votes in the House of Representatives elections, as Egyptian citizens flocked to the embassy carrying bouquets of roses, expressing their joy and participation in the democratic wedding, amid an atmosphere of national belonging and enthusiasm to contribute to shaping the future of their country.
The voters were keen to document their voting moments with pictures, stressing Participating in the elections is a national duty and a responsibility towards Egypt, no matter the distance.
The voting process for Egyptians residing abroad in the first phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections takes place on Friday and Saturday inside 139 Egyptian embassies and consulates in 117 countries.
It is noteworthy that the House of Representatives elections are held in two stages and 2,598 candidates compete in the individual system, and 4 lists in the closed list system, and voting in the first round of the first phase takes place on two days. November 7 and 8 abroad, and at home on November 10 and 11, with the official result being announced on November 18. The repeat will be held abroad on December 1 and 2, and at home on December 3 and 4, and the result of the repeat will be announced on December 11.
