"Sports" It receives the champions of the Egyptian speed team after its historic crowning of the world championship in India

The Ministry of Youth and Sports received the delegation of the Egyptian speedball team after their return from the Indian capital, New Delhi, following the historic coronation of the 36th World Speedball Championship for the adult and junior categories, which was held during the period from October 30 to November 7, 2025 with the participation of the teams of Poland, Germany, Ukraine, Iraq, Kuwait, India and Palestine.

 

The champions were received by Dr. Mohamed Al-Damiati, Deputy General Director of Al-Hafiz Sports. On behalf of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, he conveyed the Minister’s congratulations to the delegation on the global achievement achieved by winning all the gold medals in various categories.

 

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi expressed his sincere congratulations to the Egyptian Speedball Federation, headed by Representative Ahmed Al-Khatib, and to the players of the national team and their technical staff, pointing out that this historic achievement embodies the superiority of Egyptian sports at the global level and reflects the amount of support and interest that the Egyptian state gives to sports champions in various fields. The Minister of Youth and Sports stressed that the state, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, pays great attention to nurturing the talented and providing all the elements of success for the national teams on the way to achieving achievements and raising the Egyptian flag high in international forums, praising the great effort made by the Egyptian Speedball Federation in preparing a distinguished generation of champions capable of continuing to achieve championships.
