Armored vehicles .. Latvia provides Ukraine with new military aid

The Ministry of Defense in Latvia announced that it intends to provide Ukraine with more military aid to defend itself against the comprehensive Russian invasion.
The ministry said in a statement that it had requested an unannounced number of armored transport vehicles to surrender to the Ukrainian armed forces this year.

Latvia military aid to Ukraine

Last August, Latvia requested more than 200 armored vehicles from the Finnish “Patria” manufacturer, and again requested 56 other vehicles in November 2024.

The ministry explained that the new order for Ukraine has no effect on the scale and conditions of the request for Plavia.

The war of Russia and Ukraine

Vehicles will be mainly produced in the Patria Production facility that opened in Latvia in May 2024.
Latvia shares limits with Russia and its ally Belarus, is one of the most supportive of Ukraine.
