Rawan bint Naguib Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth in the Kingdom of Bahrain, said that the ministry is working in cooperation with the various partners at the local and international levels on a set of important initiatives that contribute to empowering young people in various sectors. Tawfiqi added in a special interview with the Emirates News Agency “WAM” on the sidelines of the first day of the World Summit of Governments currently in the city of Jumeirah in Dubai that, through participation in the global summit, young people can learn about the most important issues related to them at the global level, such as the challenges facing young people in their societies. She emphasized that Bahrain is always seeking to work to enhance partnerships with other countries and international institutions to empower Bahraini youth worldwide, especially in the field of education and vocational training and providing volunteer opportunities, as it believes in the importance of providing the necessary skills for young people so that they can achieve their aspirations and contribute to improving their societies.

The Minister talked about the distinguished relationship between Bahrain and the UAE in the field of youth, as she emphasized joint cooperation between the two countries that extend for many years. She pointed to the partnership with the International Youth Center and other programs such as “Youth City”, which contributes to the empowerment of Bahraini and Emirati youth alike … stressing that Bahrain and the UAE always seek to develop joint cooperation in multiple areas to expand youth horizons and give them the necessary opportunities to become an effective part In the global community.
