Dubai Police and the World Rescue Organization sign a memorandum of understanding

Dubai, November 11 / WAM / The General Command of Dubai Police and the World Rescue Organization signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing cooperation and coordination in the fields of rescue and relief, including training and development and the use of the latest technologies and equipment in this field. Under the Memorandum of Understanding, the two sides will cooperate in the fields of training and enhance the technical capabilities of the rescue teams, participate in the training programs approved by the World Rescue Organization, cooperation in the field of equipment and technologies and skills development, community awareness on security and safety, research cooperation, and other related areas.

The memo was signed in the presence of His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al -Marri, Commander -in -Chief of Dubai Police, Mr. Paul Schroeder, head of the World Rescue Organization, and a number of senior officers and employees, on the sidelines of the start of the UAE challenge for the rescue teams organized by the Dubai Police annually.

His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al -Marri expressed his happiness with this cooperation, especially with the readiness of the Dubai Police to host the global rescue challenge in Dubai in 2027. He stressed that this cooperation will contribute to supporting the strategic goals of the organization and enhancing the capabilities of the rescue teams in Dubai Police in this vital sector. For his part, Mr. Paul Schroeder pointed out that this cooperation will enhance the training side in the rescue and relief sector, and is prepared to host the 2027 global rescue challenge in Dubai, making it an important event to achieve the desired goals. He also noted that the UAE challenge the rescue teams organized by Dubai Police annually enhances the readiness of the participating teams locally and internationally, and contributes to developing its performance and skills in this field.
