He said during a session entitled “Scientific and Technological Progress … Future Priorities”, within the agenda of the first day of the World Summit on Governments held in Dubai, that the UAE has supervised the future during the past years, thanks to its investment in infrastructure and knowledge economy and the development of services, which made it have a strong system To keep pace with future developments.

He added that the state is moving at a faster pace than others towards future technology, noting that the advanced technology research council includes 10 research centers, and 4000 researchers from 80 countries, and cooperates with 100 international universities to develop modern technologies that make a real difference in the future.

Al -Bannai pointed out that the “Falcon” model, launched by the Advanced Technology Research Council, was able to outperform many of the models of artificial intelligence thanks to advanced technologies, stressing that what it took years to accomplish will be completed in a few seconds during the next three years.

Al -Bannai continued: “We are investing in content technologies, which is a very promising technology, and in the world of self -driving cars soon, a person does not need to drive his car. ».
