The Minister of Endowments meets the Mufti of Chad

Professor Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, met with His Eminence Sheikh Ahmed Al-Nur Muhammad Al-Helu, Mufti of the Republic of Chad, on the sidelines of the activities of the International Fatwa Conference.

The meeting dealt with ways to enhance joint cooperation between the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments and religious institutions in the Republic of Chad, especially in the areas of spreading moderate thought, confronting extremism, and supporting rational religious discourse, in a way that contributes to consolidating the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence.

The Minister of Endowments stressed during The meeting is Egypt’s keenness; Leadership and religious institutions, to support the issues of the Islamic nation, and to strengthen scientific and advocacy cooperation with sister African countries, praising the important role played by Chadian religious institutions in serving Islam and its tolerant values.

For his part, the Mufti of Chad expressed his appreciation for the pioneering role played by Egypt in the field of advocacy and fatwas, appreciating the efforts of the Ministry of Endowments in spreading moderation and moderation, and stressing the importance of continued coordination and cooperation between the two sides. The Chadian official also appreciated the launch of the program “Floral Suns in the Sky of the World.” Which was launched by the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments with the late eminent Chadian scholar, Muhammad Alish Awda, saying that the eminent scholar’s ​​study at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif made him a pioneer of education and enlightenment when he returned to his homeland, Chad.
