UAE .. Dana Gas shares rise to the highest price in 12 months

Dana gas shares and traded in the Abu Dhabi Financial Market rose by 1.43% during trading today, Wednesday, to circulate at a price of 0.78 dirhams per share, for its highest price in 12 months.

9.72 million shares of Dana Gas shares were traded at that time, with a value of trading 7.60 million dirhams.

The highest price for the share at that time was at 0.79 dirhams per share during the session, while the lowest price for the share was at 0.77 dirhams per share, thus touching its highest price in a year and 19 days.

In a separate context, the profits of Dana Gas, listed in the Abu Dhabi Securities Market, decreased by 13.48% by the end of the first half of last year, compared to the same period in the previous year.

The company said in a statement that it achieved profits of $ 72 million (equivalent to 263 million dirhams) in the first half of 2024, compared to profits amounting to 83 million dollars (equivalent to 304 million dirhams) in the first half of 2023.

The revenues also decreased by 14% to $ 190 million (equivalent to 696 million dirhams) in the first half of this year, compared to $ 222 million (equivalent to 814 million dirhams) in the same period last year.

It should be noted that Dana Gas is a public joint stock company listed in the Abu Dhabi Securities Market since December 2005, and it operates in the energy sector, with a special focus on integrated oil and gas.
