Trump’s idea of Gaza is rejected by Palestinian, Arab and international

Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary -General of the League of Arab States, and Jassem Al -Badawi, Secretary -General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, stressed that the American idea with a “transfer” or “displacement” of the residents of the Gaza Strip outside their land “is unacceptable, Arab, no Palestinian, not even international.”
This came during a session entitled “The Case of the Arab World”, moderated by the journalist Imad Al -Din Adeeb within the work of the second day of the World Summit of Governments 2025, which started in Dubai yesterday under the slogan “Future Governments foresight”, and ends its activities tomorrow, Thursday.
Ahmed Aboul Gheit considered that if US President Donald Trump continues to put pressure on the inhabitants of Gaza and the Arab world, the Middle East will enter into a new session of the extreme dispute between Arabs and Israel, instead of resolving the Palestinian issue and reaching a two -state solution.
Regarding the upcoming closing statement of the emergency Arab summit to be held on February 27 in Cairo, Ahmed Aboul Gheit indicated that “according to our follow -ups until this moment, the statement of the statement did not begin, but his main ideas exist … and the idea of the Arab Peace Initiative, which means the existence of a Palestinian state, will be re -presented. In exchange for peace with Israel. “
Aboul Gheit highlighted the ability of the Arab world to rebuild the Gaza Strip without transferring its residents, in cooperation with the partners, through a multi -stage plan that is implemented for several years, stressing that the transfer of Gaza residents “is not only an injustice to the Palestinian people, but is considered a cancellation of will and right The Palestinian people are on their land.
He added: “The goal is to evacuate historical Palestine from its people … We resisted this for about 100 years, so we cannot surrender now, because we have not been defeated militarily, economically or culturally, and there must be a settlement between Palestine and Israel so that peaceful coexistence between them is achieved, and live in A regional economic space, but with the establishment of a Palestinian state. “
He indicated that “the problem in the American vision is that it is ambiguous, as President Trump imagines that the settlement of the conflict in the Middle East will be achieved by ending the existence and Palestinian figure in Gaza, but this means transferring the conflict to a stage that goes beyond Gaza and Israel to a transient status of international borders.”
– Clear constants
For his part, the Secretary -General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf renewed the emphasis on Arab and international rejection of what he described as the “Trump deal” on Gaza, saying: “His deal will not be accepted by the Arab world … you cannot displace the Palestinians, the idea is internationally rejected, and no one accepts it.” .
Jassim Al -Badawi stressed the need to work to re -market the Arab Peace Initiative, and to ensure the persuasion of Western countries, and pointed out that the term “deal” is not new to Trump, but there are clear constants regarding the Palestinian issue, including the right of its people in a Palestinian state, expressing at the time Himself, about his appreciation for the American and American Gulf relations.
Jassem Al -Badawi noted that Trump knows very well the importance of relations with the Gulf states and the Arab world, stressing that “no solution on the ground can be imposed by force.”
He added, “The important question is how we will deal as an Arab scientist with the situation on the ground?”
