The Sheikh Zayed Festival Administration decided to extend its activities until the end of the holy month of Ramadan
Abu Dhabi, February 17/ WAM/ The Sheikh Zayed Festival Administration announced the extension of the festival’s activities until the end of the holy month of Ramadan, in response to the great public turnout, and to confirm its position as a major destination that celebrates the authentic Ramadan values and enhances the atmosphere of the holy month.
The extension of the festival coincides with the “Year of Society 2025” launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”, under the slogan “Hand in Hand”, where the event contributes to promoting social interaction and societal cohesion through its various activities that bring together individuals and families In a festive Ramadan atmosphere, it reflects the Emirati cultural heritage and provides interactive platforms that celebrate local customs and traditions.
His Excellency Abdullah Mubarak Al -Muhairi, a member of the festival’s supreme committee, stressed on this occasion that the great public turnout reflects the festival’s position as a global cultural and heritage platform, noting that the extension of the festival during the month of Ramadan gives visitors the opportunity to enjoy a distinguished experience that reflects the Emirati heritage with a global vision.
He pointed out that the festival contributes greatly to the revitalization of economic and tourism sectors by attracting increasing numbers of visitors, which enhances the UAE’s position as a global destination for culture and entertainment during the holy month.
The Sheikh Zayed Festival continues to provide an integrated cultural and recreational experience, which combines Emirati heritage with cultural, artistic and recreational events, and continues to enhance its position as an integrated Ramadan destination, reflecting the richness of Emirati culture and its openness to the world, so that every corner in the festival becomes an area that revives history and celebrates the present in an atmosphere of brotherhood and giving .
