Minister of Parliamentary Affairs: No factory can be closed by an individual decision

The Minister of Parliamentary, Legal Affairs and Political Communication, Counselor Mahmoud Fawzi, confirmed that it is no longer possible to close any factory by an individual decision from any ministry, and that the industry is not a luxury but rather national security.
This came in a speech to the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Today, Monday, during his participation in the Senate session, headed by Counselor Abdel -Wahab Abdel Razek, to discuss three public discussion requests on the restart of the troubled factories to enhance the process of localizing promising industries, shift to electric cars, cities establishing strategies and specialized industrial complexes, and industrial infrastructure development mechanisms Deepening local manufacturing and improving industrial competitiveness. As an essential pillar in its program, and this approach reflects the solidarity of all sides to make this file a success, due to its close association with Egyptian national security in light of the current data and changes.

He added that the current problem lies In the trade balance deficit due to relying on the import of goods and manufacturing materials in dollars with more than the dollar return from export, which calls for strengthening local manufacturing to reduce dependence on imports and achieve balance in the trade balance.
